Nordic Enhanced Educational Directory Service (NEEDS)

Background

To investigate the possibility for a broader cooperation between the Nordic countries, in developing a common infrastructure for directory services, representatives from different countries participated in a meeting the 8th of November 2000 at USIT/UiO.

This work was sponsored by the Nordunet2 programme, and defined as Meeting on Nordic Directory infrAstructure deploYment (MONDAY).

Project description

At the MONDAY meeting we agreed to deliver a project proposal to the Nordunet2 secretariat, before the 1st of January 2001. Proposal for a "Nordic Enhanced Educational Directory Service" (NEEDS) can be found here:
